Guillaume Deknudt has been providing assistance to affluent private individuals for some 15 years. He has ample experience in national and international asset planning. Furthermore, he has extensive expertise in handling family conflicts and always attempts to find an amicable solution in case of this type of conflicts. Finally, he often deals with tax fraud files and aims at a settlement with the tax authorities or the public prosecutor’s department whenever possible.
Guillaume is the author of numerous publications in specialised literature. For instance, he was the author of the summary of case law relating to donation law, succession law and wills in the well-known Patrimonium series of publications for ten years. Guillaume is also a popular guest speaker.
He worked for the Instituut voor Familiaal Vermogensrecht (Institute for Family Estate Law) of KU Leuven for several years. Guillaume is also a scientific assistant at the University of Hasselt.
He has a licentiate degree in law (KU Leuven – cum laude) and in tax law (ULB – magna cum laude) and is a member of the Bars of Kortrijk and Brussels.
